I enjoy Art on many different levelsAs a teacher, I tried to provide the environment where students could feel confident to extend themselves with a material. Or they would light up when the subject material interested them.
Sketching and painting on location allows me to submerge myself deeply into the place. And hopefully understand it better.
With Sculpture, I try to exploit the particular characteristics of the material. I become in partnership with the materials. As much discovering as directing the process.
Viewing Art and experiencing how different cultures appreciate it, allows me to better understand this subject, that I love.
